Patio Peek 2026 - Coming Soon!

3/25/2026

By Mickey Fielding
Picture
The Tree and Landscaping Committee will hold a Patio Peek on Sunday, May 3rd, 1–4 pm, for the first time since 2019.

We encourage everyone interested in the tour or in showing their patio to please let us know by April 24th, so we have a good estimate of “Peekers” and patio hosts for our planning. Patio hosts will be given details of the event and a pre-tour of the other patios before event day.

You are welcome and encouraged to show your patios if you are pondering it, even “works in progress.” If you have special plants or just great ideas, all are welcome. Patio pride!
If interested, please email [email protected] to let us know; you can also email your questions and comments to this address.

March 2026 Board News

3/24/2026

Compiled by Patrick Comiskey
The Board Meeting was held March 24.
FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR GREEN CREW
Landscape Manager George Hilder asked for the release of funds, approved in October by the Board, to add three additional landscapers to Green Crew at a cost of $13,600 per month. The additional manpower will address property-wide overgrowth, improve tree care, and help regular maintenance get back on a three-month schedule. The Board approved this, 5 to 3, with one abstention. The allocation will be revisited during the 2027 budget discussion.

SPEED WARNING IN GARAGE COURT DRIVES
The VG Court Council, in an effort to curtail speeding drivers and delivery trucks, proposed a “Slow Down” message to be stenciled on Garage Court driveways. As the proposal did not lay out costs, the Board chose not to move forward with the recommendation for now.

ANNUAL
MEET THE CANDIDATES EVENT FORMALIZED
At the urging of Court Council, the Board passed a resolution to schedule one in-person and one virtual Meet the Candidates event prior to each Board election.

SIDEWALK
REMOVAL BENEATH OAK
George Hilder requested permission to remove the buckling sidewalk under Oak Tree #1166 in the East Circle garage court. Maintenance will do the work at no extra expense to the Association. It was approved.

IN
OTHER NEWS
  • Requests involving the Finance Ad Hoc Committee were discussed.
  • The Board President asked that directors circulate their resolutions to each other prior to Board meetings to ensure they have sufficient time to review and research.
