Role 
​The Village Green is divided into seventeen courts plus the East and West Circles. Each court has a volunteer representative on the court council. The East and West Circles together have a single representative. These representatives report individual court problems and make suggestions to the court council. The court council, in turn apprises the board, the manager, or appropriate committees of conditions that adversely affect Village Green residents, and it recommends possible solutions. The representatives also communicate information from the Board and distribute written information to the residents in their courts.
The name and contact information for your court representative can be found in your laundry room, where court council representatives post and maintain the notice boards. Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend court council meetings. Residents can also become alternates for their court to help with flyer distribution and other roles.
 Recent Court Council Actions include:
  • Received board approval for a no tree climbing sign on the main green.
  • Organizing and hosting the Meet the Candidates events for the 2016 board elections.
  • Funding and organizing the correct replacement of the flag located at the entrance to Village Green in December 2015.
  • Creating and distributing a flyer reminding residents of pet regulations in 2015.
  • Adding with permission, a disclaimer notice for the laundry room notice boards.
  • Organised a water conservation event in July 2015.
