Join the Tree Committee on Earth Day, Saturday April 22 at 9:00 am at the club house to spread mulch around the base of young trees throughout the Village Green. This winter’s rains gave everything a much needed boost, let’s keep the momentum going by mulching young trees to help conserve soil moisture. Both our horticulturalist and arborist agree that we need to mulch our trees, so lets do it as a community. If you have shovels and gloves, bring them! Mulch has been donated by C & S Nursery. Recycle items, tires, electronics, electronics, propane tanks,
medications, motor oil. Let’s clean out our garages, and patios. Free of Charge. 9am to 3pm at Sentinel Newspaper parking lot rear back entrance, 3800 Crenshaw Blvd. Blacks on Blues and the Village Green Cultural Affairs Committee are pleased to present a special Black History Month event.
A presentation of The Impact of Geography and Culture on LA's 20th Century Black Music Scene by Dr. Lance A. Williams. Sunday March 26, 2017 at 3PM in the Village Green Clubhouse. A full dinner will be served after the program. Representatives from the Audubon Society will give us information about the amazing variety of birds that make Village Green their home (or migratory layover).
Join us at the Clubhouse at 7:30am for coffee, a snack and a talk before heading out at 9:00am onto the Green to bird watch. Please wear Comfortable clothes and walking shoes. TUESDAY, JANUARY 17TH, 6.30PM AND SATURDAY, JANUARY 21ST, 10AM THE CLUBHOUSE The Village Green Court Council is hosting two opportunities to meet the candidates for the board of directors. The seven candidates have the opportunity to read their statements and take questions from homeowners.

This is the regular monthly board meeting that has been moved from the 4th Thursday of the month to accommodate the upcoming holiday. The Village Green Landscape Committee is hosting a Smart Gardening Workshop this Saturday, November 5th from 9:30 - 11am at the clubhouse. This event is put on by the LA County Department of Public Works. This is a fantastic workshop focused on reducing our yard and kitchen waste through patio composting and worm composting.
