The laundry room services are contracted out to Wash LLC who provide and maintain the machines. VGOA receives a percentage of the income from Wash. Wash can be contacted directly with service problems.
The laundry rooms are cleaned once a week. Users should keep the doors and windows closed when not there in person. Each court also has a drying area adjacent to the laundry/trash area. Court council reps maintain the notice boards in each laundry room. Outdoor drying areas are available adjacent to the laundry and trash areas in each court. |

Laundry rooms are located in every court. They are for residents only and should be locked at all times. If you did not get the key from the previous owner, they may be obtained from the management office. Each court also has a line drying area adjacent to the laundry/trash area.
Residents can sign up for a time slot for exclusive access to laundry facilities, one hour per week between 8am-2pm. After 2pm is open to all. Schedules are posted in the laundry room and residents are required to respect the assigned hours of others.

- Schedules posted in the laundry rooms ensure the residents regular and unhurried access to laundry facilities. Part of each day including Saturday and Sunday is schedule as follows” 8am-2pm assigned; after 2pm as available. Residents are required to respect the assigned hours of others. The schedules must remain posted in the laundry rooms.
- The laundry room is for residents only.
- When not occupied, the laundry room doors and windows must be kept closed and locked at all times; propping open the laundry doors or windows is not permitted. Keys to the laundry rooms may be obtained from the management office.
- Connecting extension cords, drop lights or electric cords of any kind to the electric outlets or light fixtures in the laundry rooms is prohibited.
- Maintenance: Wet clothing and bedding and other laundry items may not be left hanging in the laundry room or left in the washing machines or dryers. All such items (whether wet or dry) must be dried in the designated drying areas located adjacent to the laundry room facilities or taken back to the resident’s unit.
- Washing of heavily soiled (e.g. with blood or excrement) or chemically exposed items in the washing machines is prohibited.
- Washing of pet bedding in the washing machines is prohibited.
- The lint trap must be cleaned after each use of dryer.
- Mistreatment, abuse or any type of vandalism of property in the laundry rooms is prohibited. The laundry rooms shall not be used for personal storage of laundry soaps and supplies.
- The association has no responsibility or liability for loss of or damage to personal items or injury to persons.
