Treston Security Officers report all incidents to Management, including those that lead to rule enforcement such as noise or parking violations. For more information, please go to the Management Overview page.
An exceptional number of garages were reported open, unsecured, or unattended during the month. More than forty such incidents were reported to security. It’s not clear why there were so many, but Treston would like to remind you to secure
property with care going forward.
COYOTE ENCOUNTERS
Treston’s monthly security report notes ten coyote encounters and, presumably, a much greater number of non-reported coyote incidents.
Reports of encounters include animals scratching humans, stalking and advancing on children, and stalking pet dogs—in one instance, working in tandem. Residents also report lost pets and the discovery of cat remains. The coyotes have evidently habituated to humans here, but remain predatory and unpredictable. It is an extremely serious and dangerous situation, one which the Board, Security, and Management are seeking to contain and to take action.
