Treston Security Report: January 20 - February 18, 2026

EMERGENCY, CT 14, JAN 20, 4:10AM
A resident who called emergency services was transported to a hospital by LAFD.

DISTURBANCE (ODOR), CT 9, JAN 20, 9:44AM
Smoke, reported in neighbor’s apartment, was determined to be incense.

TRESPASSING, CT 1, JAN 21, 1:50PM
Resident reported trespassers in his front of his unit. Officers located the individuals, who left the property.

PARKING COMPLAINT, CT 2, JAN 23, 4:34PM
A resident reported a neighbor tampering with tire chalk marks. Evidence was recorded by video and passed on to Management. The car was re-chalked.

DISTURBANCE, CT 17, JAN 24, 10:31AM
A resident was reported walking a dog on the interior green space; advised of HOA policy.

TRESPASSING, WEST CIRCLE, JAN 24, 9:17PM
A transient reported sleeping in the West Circle area was escorted off the property.

DISTURBANCE, CT 3, JAN 25, 12:16PM
Resident reported being approached by another resident who grabbed him and whispered of government surveillance and AI attacks. A similar encounter was reported the previous day.

DISTURBANCE, CT 3, JAN 25, 1:50PM
Disturbance reported involving two residents. On scene, LAPD initially advised no action, but after a later, related incident, the instigator was taken into custody.

THEFT, CT 4, JAN 26, 10:01AM
A resident reported her husband’s license plate stolen.

ASSISTANCE, CT 14, JAN 30, 7:59AM
A resident sought assistance for her neighbor, who had fallen.

SMOKING, CT 7, JAN 30, 6:16PM
Resident reported a person wearing a security jacket (not a Treston officer) smoking marijuana near the perimeter. He was asked to leave the premises.

VANDALISM, CT 12, FEB 1, 10:20AM
Resident requested that the Ct 12 laundry room be checked for possible vandalism.

DISTURBANCE, CT 9, FEB 1, 9:55PM
Resident reported juveniles climbing trees and yelling.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, CT 9, FEB 2, 3:42AM
A resident reported being awakened by loud banging on their front window.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, CT 5, FEB 2, 7:31PM
A resident reported a potential robbery of her unit. No one was found.

DISTURBANCE, CT 8, FEB 2, 10:49PM
Resident reported loud music in the unit above hers. Security persuaded the occupant to turn the music down.

VANDALISM, CT 17, FEB 3, 8:56PM
Resident reported a suspicious individual inside the Ct 17 laundry room. A juvenile was found and escorted off the property.
Security documented graffiti, vandalism, and marijuana smoke.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, CT 14, FEB 9, 1:52PM
A transient male was reported in the garage court.

ARGUMENT, CT 3, FEB 10, 5:15PM
A resident was observed engaging in a heated verbal exchange with an unknown female. The resident made incidental physical contact with security staff during the fracas. A wellness check patrol was implemented.

DISTURBANCE (NOISE), CT 8, FEB 10, 10:48PM
A resident reported loud children noise and a television at a high volume. No violation was observed.

DISTURBANCE (NOISE), CT 7, FEB 11, 1:56AM
Resident reported ongoing noise inside neighbor’s unit. A person at that unit stated he was cleaning owing to the death of a family member. When informed of the property’s noise guidelines, he claimed harassment, and stated his intention to complain to the office.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON, CT 1, FEB 15, 9:44PM
An adult male was observed seated in the community garden. Told he was on private property, he claimed to be a resident and became verbally hostile when asked to identify himself. After more threatening remarks he moved on.

​WELFARE CHECK, CT 5, FEB 16, 1:59PM
A caller requested a welfare check on a friend who had sounded out of breath during a phone call. Upon reaching him, the resident stated he had been chasing his cat.
