Though the meeting did not reach quorum, the President’s, Treasurer’s, Manager’s, and Committee reports were still delivered to the 70+ owners in attendance. Both the President’s and Treasurer’s reports detailed a year filled with challenges as the property navigated loan issues with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, an exorbitant insurance bill that depleted reserve funds, and the effects of inflation on overall spending.
Due to new professional opportunities, Director Laura Civiello announced that she would be stepping down as President but will remain on the Board for the coming year. Those present also celebrated the service of Treasurer Claire Knowlton, who is leaving the Board after many years of impeccable financial stewardship. She was given a proper sendoff.
